Let’s start adding a website to the Google analytics account first. I am assuming that you have already

created a Google analytics account. 

1First login to your GA account and go to Admin from the top menu.

2Now go to Account > Create New Account. Like shown in picture below.

3Fill up the form and click on Tracking ID.

Congratulation, you  have successfully added new website to Google Analytics.

Now, we will add Google analytics to blogger.

You can add Google analytics to blogger using two different methods.

• Adding Google analytics using tracking code.
• Adding Google analytics using Tracking ID

Method 1: Adding Google Analytics using Tracking Code:

1Login to your Google analytics account and click on website you want to track.

2Now, click on Admin from the top menu and click on Tracking Info > Tracking Code

,like shown in picture below.

3Scroll down and you will find a Tracking ID and Tracking Code, copy both ID and tracking

code script in notepad.Like shown in picture below.

4Now go to Blogger dashboard > Template > Edit HTML and find below code by typing  Ctrl+F.

5When you find above code paste your Google analytics tracking Script code just below that. Like

shown in picture below.

Now Save to complete process.

Bingo! You have successfully added Google analytics to blogger.

Method 2: Adding Google analytics using Tracking ID:

1Copy your Tracking ID which you saved earlier in the notepad. 

2Login to your blogger Dashboard > Settings > Other.

3Now you will see a Google analytics web property ID column, paste your tracking ID in it

and save it.

Bingo! You have successfully added Google analytics tracking Id to blogger.
